It is difficult to receive "outside the box" thinking, when you're feeling boxed in. Sometimes a simple conversation with someone who can see things differently is all it takes to shift your own perspective.
You are unique. You are here to be unique; to contribute your unique combinations of gifts and talents to the planet at this time. It very well may be that what you've come to do, or the way you've come to do it has not been done before.
We are all, individually and collectively, on a journey. By definition, that requires movement, taking one step and then another. The ultimate path for any one of us can not be found outside of ourselves.
When it comes to dreams and their fulfillment, one size does not fit all. We can gain much by studying the wisdom traditions of the past and exploring the ideas of our most thoughtful contemporaries. Ultimately, whatever methods and systems each of us may treasure, these systems are meant as stepping stones to take us beyond where we stand today.
Pioneers will find themselves in uncharted territory.
If you dare to live your life differently, it becomes important to be able to access specific wisdom for your own unique path. Learn to listen to your own heart, to Life, to that part of you that is older, wiser, stronger and more loving than you usually allow. Make time to listen.
Lasting external changes requires changes within.
"At a time where my career felt chaotic and I wasn't sure which path to take, Eileen Lighthawk of Lighthawk Consulting helped me to clarify my goals and dreams. Rather than impose a one-size-fits-all strategy, she listened to what I had to say, and encouraged me to use my strengths to create a unique strategic plan based on who I am and what I want to achieve. I now have a vision that is taking my organization on a new path. Both I and my staff are becoming more empowered to better support our community. We are creating new solutions for old problems, clearing away old stagnant energy and generating enthusiasm in house, in our field, and in the community at large. I have regained the passion in my work. "
